Activating dance dramaturgy in Hong Kong: Asian bodies, Local grounds
To deepen the practice of "dance dramaturgy" in Hong Kong.
Our vision
By organizing a series of activities and research projects, in a practice-as-research basis, this initiative aims not only to foster industry-wide dialogue but also to promote interaction between "dramaturgs" and creators from various disciplines. We strive to build a body-centric, cross-disciplinary dramaturgical ecosystem, collectively reimagining a future of artistic symbiosis. Starting from Hong Kong, we set out to map a blueprint for a future Inter-Asia dramaturgical platform.
We Wonder...
-
What is dramaturgical sensibility?
-
How can "dance dramaturgy" be contextualized and translated locally?
-
How can "dramaturgy" be applied to various roles within the dance ecosystem?
-
